As inklings of Hudson Williams\u2018 potential Saturday Night Live cameo percolated in the days leading up to his Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie\u2018s debut hosting gig, the Canadian actor glided onto Studio 8H ice during a sketch.<\/p>\n
Well, rather, he crashed into Storrie and SNL stars Mikey Day and Ben Marshall, all of whom were playing happy-go-lucky pals ice skating at the Rockefeller Center rink, who were unwittingly interrupting a disastrous proposal between Veronika Slowikowska and Tommy Brennan\u2019s characters.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel so free,\u201d Day says at one point, adding to loud audience cheers: \u201cI feel like Alisa Liu right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the trio awaited Williams, the breakout star zoomed onto the ice to loud cheers from the audience. Slowikowska and Brennan were in the foreground trying to tamp down a smile amid the applause.<\/p>\n

Throughout the sketch, Slowikowska attempts to redirect her would-be-fiance\u2019s attention to their romantic disintegration, as he becomes increasingly distracted by the skaters\u2019 unabated whimsy and random lore.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never felt so cool,\u201d Williams says as he forms a conga line with the fellas.<\/p>\n
In response, Brennan balks at the idea \u2014 surely, Williams has experienced cooler things?<\/p>\n
\u201cHow is that possible,\u201d he questions.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know, it\u2019s just how I feel,\u201d Slowikowska\u2019s Candace says.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, sorry, I meant, like, how is ice skating in a four-person train the coolest that that guy has ever felt?\u201d<\/p>\n
At another point, Storrie\u2019s character is revealed to be Kendrick Lamar\u2019s producer, and Brennan once again interrupts Slowikowska to express disbelief that the guy has any connection to the Grammy-winning rapper.<\/p>\n
As Slowikowska struggles to once again pivot the conversation to their dying relationship and diverging life paths, Brennan is shown on the ice, dismissively saying, \u201cOK, sounds good. I\u2019m gonna hang with these guys. I have to figure out their secret.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later on in the show, Williams joined Storrie to introduce musical guest Mumford & Sons, whose performance included a surprise appearance by Hozier, as the two acts performed their song \u201cRubber Band Man.\u201d<\/p>\n
