The film captured a dominant 82.01% of the total revenue share, its highest share of the market since its release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe King\u2019s Warden\u201d earned $11.8 from 1,750,991 admissions over the three-day weekend. Directed by Jang Hang-jun and starring Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon, the drama \u2013 which follows a village chief\u2019s protection of a deposed teenage king \u2013 has reached a cumulative gross of $56 million from 8,484,426 admissions. The film\u2019s performance reflects a significant hold as it nears the 10 million admissions milestone.<\/p>\n<p>In second place, the espionage thriller \u201cHumint\u201d earned $895,678 from 124,622 admissions. Directed by Ryoo Seung-wan and starring Zo In-sung and Park Jeong-min, the film has reached a cumulative gross of $12.6 million from 1,822,175 admissions since its Feb. 11 debut.<\/p>\n<p>Popular on Variety<\/p>\n<p>The live-action remake of the Japanese anime \u201c5 Centimeters per Second\u201d debuted in third place, earning $217,036 over the weekend and $383,843 since its Feb. 25 launch. Directed by Okuyama Yoshiyuki and starring Matsumura Hokuto, the film is an expanded two-hour adaptation of Shinkai Makoto\u2019s 2007 omnibus. It follows the story of Takaki and Akari, two childhood friends who struggle to maintain their connection over 18 years as they move to different cities and drift apart.<\/p>\n<p>The musical drama \u201cChoir of God\u201d took fourth place for the weekend, adding $154,128 for a total of $9 million. Pixar\u2019s \u201cHoppers\u201d debuted in fifth place with $160,374. Since its mid-week opening on Feb. 25, it has earned $167,647. The horror sequel \u201c28 Years Later: The Bone Temple\u201d opened in sixth place, grossing $156,922 from 21,373 admissions.<\/p>\n<p>In seventh place, Chinese animated blockbuster \u201cNe Zha 2\u201d earned $123,414 over the weekend.
