Trump previously told reporters that he would provide more resources to the Guthrie family if needed. This new announcement represents an urgent and more explicit delivery of that promise.<\/p>\n

Nancy Guthrie went missing in Tucson, Ariz. over the weekend, and on Monday, the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced that her disappearance was being treated like a crime. Authorities said they found \u201cvery concerning\u201d evidence at her house.<\/p>\n
\u201cI believe she was abducted, yes,\u201d Sheriff Chris Nanos told CBS News. \u201cShe didn\u2019t walk from there. She didn\u2019t go willingly.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Wednesday evening, Savannah Guthrie posted an emotional video to her Instagram, in which she and her two siblings, Annie and Camron, shared a message to their mother\u2019s kidnapper.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s 84 years old. Her health, her heart, is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive, and she needs it not to suffer,\u201d Savannah Guthrie said. \u201cWe, too, have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen.\u201d<\/p>\n
