Advanced Imaging Society’s Lumiere Award Winners Include ‘KPOP Demon Hunters’, ‘Sinners’, ‘Andor’ & ‘Severance’ – Full List

KPop Demon Hunters and Sinners were double winners at the 16th annual Lumiere Awards, presented Monday at the Beverly Hills Hotel by the Advanced Imaging Society to recognize outstanding creative and technical achievements in visual technologies.

Colloquially known as the “Oscars for geeks,” the winners were selected by members of the Hollywood creative and tech communities, with Sinners winning Best Live Action Feature Film, presented by Best Supporting Actor nominee Delroy Lindo to producer Sev Ohanian. Meanwhile, several members of the Sinners sound team accepted the award for Best Audio for a Theatrical Film.

“These Lumiere winners produced their brilliant stories by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible creatively and technically,” Jim Chabin, president of AIS, said in a statement. “In these honorees we see our industry’s future — and that future is truly more exciting than ever.”
